Charmaine Dawson, MAFM
Founder & Principal Accountant, Red Letter Accounting
Charmaine Dawson is a systems-driven accountant, strategist, and advocate who transforms financial operations into tools for empowerment. As the founder of Red Letter Accounting and a Corporate Staff Accountant at a $900M commercial and residential building supply group supporting locally owned businesses, she leads multi-entity operations, fixed asset management, and compliance initiatives—overseeing more than $45 million in assets with precision and care.
Her journey into accounting was anything but linear. After years as a homeschooling mother, foster parent, and outspoken advocate for youth in care, Charmaine reentered the workforce in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree and a fierce commitment to justice. She earned her Master’s in Accounting and Financial Management while rebuilding a post-merger department at Waffle House, where she rose to Staff Accountant and discovered her gift for operational turnaround.
Charmaine’s work is grounded in lived experience—from navigating IRS surprises to balancing remote work during her child’s illness. These moments shaped her belief that financial clarity is a form of protection. Today, she builds frameworks that scale: branded onboarding kits, tax playbooks, compliance timelines, and advisory resources that empower creatives, solopreneurs, and underserved communities.
In 2024, she launched Red Letter Accounting to serve clients with tax prep, accounting, and strategic guidance. In 2025, she co-founded Bahamian Branding with her daughters, spotlighting products by Bahamian creatives on a global stage—blending her financial expertise with her creative heart.
When she’s not serving clients or navigating corporate America, Charmaine finds joy in volunteering in her community, reading, painting, drawing, and traveling. Her creative spirit and commitment to service fuel the same clarity and care she brings to every engagement.

With over 16 years of experience navigating the complexities of tax law, Sandra Morno transforms tax planning from a source of stress into a strategic advantage. As an IRS Enrolled Agent, she specializes in helping entrepreneurs, expats, and small business owners protect their earnings, reduce surprises, and stay confidently compliant.
Sandra leads Red Letter Accounting’s Tax Department with a philosophy rooted in respect, clarity, and proactive strategy. Her passion for tax planning is personal—born from a moment when an unexpected IRS bill changed her perspective. Today, she ensures that no client faces the same uncertainty, building tax plans that anticipate, empower, and deliver peace of mind.
